Cost Estimator - Cleaning

Job Title: Cost Estimator Cleaning

Department/Team: Commercial

Location: Home based

Working Hours: 40 hrs

Position in The Company Organisation:

Reports To: Commercial Cleaning Director

Responsible for: Supporting the team to achieve growth target

Works in conjunction with: Commercial Director / Bid Manager/ Business Development Managers

Budget accountability: Supporting the team to achieve growth target

Overall Purpose of the Job:

To produce detailed cost proposals/ solutions as a key component of the Kingdom Cleaning bid submissions and act as essential support function to the Commercial Department


Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Preparation of competitive cost solutions for cleaning
2. Collation and integration of third party supplier costs
3. Presentation of completed figures both internally and externally
4. Compilation of periodic Management Reports
5. Management of contract award cost hand-over processes
6. Data entry
7. Administrative support duties for the department as requested
8. Undertake any training required by the Commercial Director
9. Any other reasonable request and/or duties consistent within the role and required by the commercial team

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:

1) Microsoft Office
2) Microsoft Excel Advanced Essential
3) Qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics and/or Accountancy preferable
4) Ability to work on multiple complex costings and meet challenging deadlines
5) Familiarity with both Public and Private Sector costing documentation
6) Must undergo security clearance
7) Ability to work accurately and efficiently, often to conflicting deadlines whilst under pressure.
8) Must be flexible, able to work as part of a team and have a good sense of humour.
9) Must display high professional standards.
10) Must beable to attend Cleaning office in Sidcup or the Kingdom HQ in Manchester as required by the team to fulfil needs of complex bids
