Foot patrols (7 reminders)!
- Comply fully with the number of patrols required
- Always carry correct and adequate equipment on each patrol (torch etc)
- Always wear the correct uniform on patrol (tie, PPE etc)
- Always (where applicable) secure your security base door before you commence a patrol
- Unless stipulated walk each patrol differently – change your walking speed – give yourself patrol targets e.g. check a different item each walk
- Never assume – always check (is the door secure?)
- Complete you log book after each patrol (not before)
