Today marks International Youth Day.
As proud Founder Patrons of Wigan Youth Zone, we've seen first-hand the positive impact the Youth Zone has on young people across the local community.
From sports, creative arts and employability activities to providing somewhere safe to go and supportive people to talk to, Wigan Youth Zone helps young people build confidence, develop new skills and get involved in opportunities they may not otherwise have access to.
It's a place where young people can be themselves, feel supported and try new things, which is what makes the Youth Zone such an important part of the community and a valued resource for so many young people and families.
