One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is seeing colleagues grow, develop and build successful careers within Kingdom.
Jamie MacMillan's journey is a brilliant example of what can be achieved through hard work, commitment and a willingness to embrace new opportunities.
Jamie joined Kingdom last year as a Banksman supporting our cruise operations at the Port of Cromarty Firth. From the outset, he brought a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a real willingness to learn.

Since then, he has continued to invest in his own development, completing his SIA licence and expanding his skills across a range of assignments throughout the Port.
His dedication to learning and progression has seen him take on increasing responsibilities, most recently stepping into the important role of Port Radio Operative. In this position, Jamie helps coordinate and communicate with marine traffic across the Cromarty Firth, a role that requires professionalism, excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
Alongside this, Jamie has also taken on the role of Cruise Team Leader during another busy cruise season, supporting colleagues on the ground and helping to deliver a safe, professional and positive experience for customers, visitors and stakeholders alike.
Our Regional Manager Jamie Graham said:
"Jamie is someone who consistently steps up, takes responsibility and sets a great example for those around him.
He has embraced every opportunity to develop his skills, taken on new challenges and made a positive impact wherever he's worked across the Port.
It's been great to see how much he has achieved in a relatively short space of time and we're delighted to recognise his contribution."
Jamie's journey over the last year reflects everything that can be achieved with the right attitude and a willingness to keep learning. His progression has been thoroughly deserved and we are excited to see where his journey takes him next.
