At Kingdom Local Authority Support we pride ourselves on diversity and inclusion. We believe that everyone deserves the right to work in a safe and inclusive environment which is why we are proud to announce they we have been awarded a White Ribbon accreditation.

White Ribbon is a leading charity whose mission is to end male violence against women once and for all. It was formed by a group of pro-feminist men in London, Ontario in November 1991 as a response to the École Polytechnique massacre of female students by Marc Lépine in 1989 and has grown into the powerful force that it is today since then. White Ribbon work towards wholesale culture change to prevent violence before it starts.

The White Ribbon Accreditation ensures organisations take a strategic approach to ending male violence against women by engaging with men and boys, changing cultures and raising awareness and at Kingdom L A Support we believe this is an essential approach and one that we are proud to support.

Solutions Director John Roberts has become a White Ribbon Ambassador. Ambassadors are men volunteers who engage with other men and boys to call out abusive and sexist behaviour among their friends, colleagues and communities to promote a culture of equality and respect. Speaking about this exciting and important responsibility John said:

‘I am excited to be working with White Ribbon UK as I believe this fits with our core values at Kingdom L A Support to help protect the public and communities that we serve as well as our colleagues. I am looking forward to driving to make a difference.’
