Community Engagement Day

Our Chief Services Officer John Roberts, Contract Manager Jason Washington, Head of Sales Eugene Smith, and two of our LAS Community Safety Officers joined Southwark Council, local police, and emergency services for a brilliant Community Engagement Day at Nursery Row Park.

We spent the day chatting with residents, sharing resources, and supporting stalls run by partners including SASBU, Park Liaison Officers, CCTV, CGL, and the Police.

It was also a great chance to introduce NTUPS—Southwark’s new Night Time Uniformed Patrol Service, operated by Kingdom—to the community. NTUPS teams will be out every night from 6pm to 2am, helping to improve safety and offer reassurance across the borough.

This event gave us a real opportunity to be present in the community, listen to local concerns, and offer real support where it’s needed most.

At Kingdom, our CARE values guide everything we do. We CARE about supporting the communities we live and work in. This event brought that value to life by helping residents feel heard, informed and safer in their community.
