The Kingdom Group are delighted to announce that we have become the principal partner of the Wigan Athletic Academy for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons, continuing our long-term commercial partnership with the club.

The new partnership sees the Kingdom logo proudly feature on front of the U21 & U18 match shirts, training wear, and extensively around the academy’s home at Stadium Way. Our brand will also continue to feature heavily in and around the Brick Community Stadium at Latics first team matches.

We are one of Latics' longest-standing commercial partners, with our support dating back to the Premier League days. Our CEO Terry Barton is a lifelong fan who has seen the Club rise from non-league to the top-flight of English football.

Kingdom has become synonymous with Latics over the years, through our long-standing sponsorship of the Brick Community Stadium East Stand, and support of the Club’s past players association. The renewed deal sees Kingdom close the circle by now showing our support for Latics’ next generation.

Wigan Athletic Head of Commercial, Greg Coar, said:

We are delighted to welcome Kingdom on board as the latest Principal partner of our renowned academy.

“Given how integral the academy has been, and still is, to the Club’s strategy, it makes for a great story that Kingdom’s long history of supporting the Club is now evolving into helping shape the Club’s future.

“We are very grateful for the ongoing support of Terry and the team at Kingdom, and we are looking forward to seeing how the latest chapter of our relationship develops in the years to come.”

Kingdom Wigan Athletic Academy Manager, Jake Campbell, said:

We are extremely grateful to The Kingdom Group for becoming the new principal partner of our academy, and for supporting the next generation of Wigan Athletic players.

“It is really important to us as an academy that we educate the players on the heritage and what it means to be part of Wigan Athletic, so from my first conversation with Terry learning about his long-standing support for the Club, dating back to the Springfield Park days, I could see straight away that this partnership was a perfect fit.

We are looking forward to working with Terry and the team at Kingdom, and developing this relationship in the years to come.”

Our CEO, Terry Barton, said:

“My family and I have a very long association with Wigan Athletic. On behalf of The Kingdom Group, I am delighted to support all at the Wigan Athletic Academy.  The values and aspirations, align perfectly with Kingdom and I hope it is the start of a long and successful partnership.”
